Current Perspectives on the Energy Sector Discussed at Our University
The seminar entitled “The Energy Sector: From Everyday Life to Global Infrastructure” was held on Friday, 17 April 2026, in Classroom C108 at our University. The event was organized to raise awareness of the energy sector and familiarize students with current developments in the field.
Dr. Anıl Kurbanoğlu from Siemens Energy attended the seminar as the guest speaker. In his presentation, he offered insights into the energy sector from its impact on everyday life to the transformation of global energy infrastructure. He also addressed current topics such as sustainable energy, digitalization, and energy efficiency, while sharing innovative approaches and recent developments in the industry.
The event attracted considerable interest from students and academic staff alike. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas about the future of the energy sector during the discussion session. The seminar concluded with a question-and-answer session.
