The Leverage of IT for Engineering and Science (LITES) 2025 Workshop on Sensors and Actuators

The Faculties of Science and Engineering of our University, in collaboration with the Technical University of Berlin and the University of Potsdam, will host the LITES 2025 Workshop on Sensors and Actuators on 9–10 October 2025.
As a continuation of the biennial LITES conference series, first held in 2023, this workshop will bring together experts, researchers, and practitioners to discuss the critical role of sensor and actuator technologies in the development of intelligent, IT-driven systems. In an era where digital transformation continues to reshape science and industry, LITES 2025 will highlight the latest advancements in sensor and actuator design, their integration with artificial intelligence, and real-world applications in sectors such as manufacturing, automotive engineering, and healthcare.
In addition to keynote lectures and thematic sessions, the workshop will feature poster presentations and an industry session aimed at bridging research with real-world applications. Participation of graduate students and postdoctoral researchers is particularly encouraged.
LITES 2025 will take place entirely in person. Participation is free of charge. Travel and accommodation expenses of invited international speakers will be covered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in accordance with the German Federal Travel Expenses Act (Bundesreisekostengesetz).
